But I compensate that with my hunger for tech toys. I just LOVE shopping tech stuff. Unfortunately, I can't afford it, nor the expensive taste in clothes I have.

Usually geeks are black jeans, NT, linux or some other free T-shirt, polo shirt for special occasions, so they have money left over for tech toys.
Now the hot shots that dress flashy usually don't know their RAM from HDD.
