Only a few deaths reported so far. There's alot of flooding around bodies of water. Some streets are flooded over the tops of the parking meters. Manhole covers are blown and they are warning people not to walk through the water as they could fall through one of these holes.
Any one in Hurricane Isibella's path?

Wow, that's a cool fake picture.
Interesting how the lighting on the water doesn't match the clouds.

Yup. It was pretty boring here. Most of the wind and rain occured on Thursday night/Friday morning. The rest of Friday was just windy.

At least you got SOMETHING. The asphalt was barely wet over here. Big disappointement.Originally posted by Liquid Snake

Big disappointment eh?
I was all for the heavy rain and high winds up until about 11:50pm Thursday night when all the lights went out. Its been 4+ days now and I STILL do not have power. They are saying that I *might* have it back by this coming friday.
The wife and I have been trying to make the best of the few hours of daylight we have before retiring to a motel room for some rest and sleep and a hot shower. Let me say that Isabel was/is a major pain in the a$$ for MANY of us who are still with out power.
Go Bunny GO!

It's a big disappointement cause I was expecting it to hit my city with more than just a tiny rain fall. but no, it's not a bad thing. In a way I'm glad it didn't hit over here.Originally posted by High_Jumbllama
