The weather sucks!!!

My lovely wife bought me a telescope for my birthday
(took almost 2 months to get it), and the friggen weather has made it impossible to use!
Rainy or cloudy for the last few weeks.

It's a great starter scope, completely computer controlled, will track and find objects,
but so far have only been able to spy on neighbours.

you want a picture of the neighbours??

Yes a camera mount is avalaible for a nominal price, and since it tracks the sky, it is ideally suited for longer exposure times.
I was going to purchase the adapter, but i thought it a bit much considering it's simplicity - so when I get around to it I'll make one myself.

FYI - this is a newtonian reflector - not really suited for terrestrial viewing - the image is inverted.


K6-III: I was invloved in an astronomy club way back in my youth (when I was 16-18), unfortunetly I don't have a great deal of time for this at the moment.
My daughter has become very keen on using it, so mabe I could get her involved in a club, and she could coach me .
