And another Trillian-user (free version) who's number is in his profile...

Helvetia: there is a patch, but you don't seem to need it when you download the latest version...

Trillian user also. My number's in my profile.

I have a few people on my ICQ list, but I only talk to one of them on ICQ these days. Everyone else uses AIM

Sorry for my ignorance, but why is Trillian so popular with you guys. At work we use MSN messenger ver 6 (I think), and it's great. We keep in touch with our American company, share files and etc, and now we can use the webcams with audio and have a little fun. I haven't heard of any problems

Trillian is popular because it can connect to AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, MSN, and IRC with one program.

Well, since I don't have that problem of being on multiple IMs, then I'm okay and not missing out on a better program. Most of friends and family are on MSN too. I haven't been on ICQ in a very very long time.

well, most of my friends are on msn as well but thee are the stragglers on the rest.

Plus, the msn blows chunks because it forces you to look at ads and you can't get rid of the stupid side bar anymore.

I have about 50 people on my AIM list, 40 on ICQ, and 20 on MSN, plus some Yahoo people. Trillian is perfect for me (and it checks my Yahoo mail).
