I have to return a dead Maxtor 160GB drive tomorrow. Died after three days of use. Damn thing. It was my first dead hard drive, ever. I've always used Quantums in the past, until they were bought by Maxtor. My 120GB Maxtor is still humming along just fine. I think I'll stick with Maxtor a little longer, but if this happens again, I may have to switch to Seagate.
