I liked to use the "show new posts" thingy.

Now there is so much spam to drudge through that it has certainly cut down my vists to MURC.

I think there are some nice hacks around for makeing the 'show new posts' into a 'favorites' style thing. So you can select which forums to include/ignore.

However I'm avoiding doing any more major hack and slashes until vB3 is stable/released and up and running with the rest of out software.
