    I never heard of this problem before, and I live just next door.

    Considering the headline of the article my conclusion is that they're making a chicken out of a feather(excuse my extreme abuse of the language)...

        We've had these here in Norway for years, and they make the front page from time to time. Most fishermen hate them. They are huge:

            Dumb problem... Let the fishermen go for a while. The problem is greed not crabs. They would rather wast them then flood the market.
