They where also sold in the States in the Late/early 1990's as a Pontiac LeMans, built in Korea by Daewoo

I think the Chevy Chevette from the early 80's was also based off Opel Kadett.

Yes, later models here were known as Opel Astra as well, but back then it was the Kadett

BTW, a lot of Vauxhalls here in Bielefeld, as a lot of british troops were/are stationed here. Had never seen any Vauxhall in Berlin.
