Not quite. You see, the water molecule is often graphically represented by the O atom as a large circle and the two hydrogen atoms are smaller circles, looking like Mickey Mouse's ears, on top. This illustrates the reason for the polarity of the water molecule. DHMO is an isomeric form where the left H is in the right position and the right H is in the left position, so that the covalent bonds are inversed.
