I can see why you'd leave...the constant fainting must have been a bit of a bore.

    I'm doing hi-res head shots.

Getting called multiple times by a single person to know something is sort of working at work now after 10PM even though I told them I would call everyone when it was working again after receiving now 13 pages.

My biggest as of late has to do with zealots. Any old zealot will do, but Religious Believers and Atheists have ranked the highest recently.
          Tell it, Brother!

Mine lately is people who mindlessly forward those foolish mass-emailings without making even a token effort to check its veracity. My brother (a high-school and Sunday School teacher) sent me dozens of these things. I called him on the "Shoot The Illegals" game and pointed out it was hosted by a neo-nazi website. He got a little mad at me. When I called him on the "Obama is a Muslim" thing he got very defensive. He hasn't sent me any of the silly things (or much of anything else) lately.

I haven't tried to rub his nose in it with the Rev. Wright fiasco. I think my restraint has been admirable.

          Also: other know-it-alls .

We have neighbours who are incredibly credulous and re-transmit all the junk that says on the end, "Send this to everyone in your address book". I've pointed out to them snopes.com and asked them to check everything. Worse, they live on sentiment, so that anything that shows a cute kitten or somesuch is freely transmitted. Worse again, they have converted from apparently shallow Anglicism to Orthodoxy and they are now deeper into it than the Metropolitan of the Orthodox Church in "Constantinople".

Anyway, a few months ago I asked them, politely (I hope) but firmly, never to send me anything that is not a personal message and it seems to have worked. :-)

Not just lawyers: 95% of companies on this island. Recently, I sent out an enquiry for some pumps for hot water circulation to every pump supplier in the yellow pages. Not one single reply, out of 26 companies!
