Sandals and Socks?

Why do people hate that combination so much?

I like my sandals...wifey says socks with them look awful...why?

Sandals, no socks, and with shorts (although I prefer to go barefooted). No other combination for me that involves sandals

Come on, I was an engineering student working in a physics lab doing computing when we met!!! Surely it would be obvious to anyone...

PS No, I didn't wear the sandals on the wedding day

It was cancelled this year. We are saving up for a long hot weekend in 2006.

Depends on the circumstances. At work I have to wear socks with my "open-toed business shoes." While not at work, I don't wear socks with my sandals.

I hate to wear socks, and don't when I don't have to.

Those of us with sweaty feet do the world a favor by wearing socks with sandals.
