    Hmmm....I got the honey being non-kosher statement from a medical text, the author of which was obviously under the impression that there was a debate in the Jewish community over the status of honey.

    It appears it was written by a non-Jew

            First time I read this. Good luck with it Doc.

            An acquitance of mine once had an infection of some sort that was getting to the bone of a finger. Anti-biotics did not kill it off. Apparantly, they decided to infect it with yet another bacteria that they knew they could fight with anti-biotics. That second bacteria killed of the first (he said it "starved" the first type). All-in all it took about two months or so. Don't remember the details I'm afraid.

            Anyway, hope it cures soon.
