Since Jim Nabors was quite a nice and smart guy with a great voice, and Gomer Pyle was a soldier who was loyal to his country, was a I see nothing wrong with the comparison.

I like Bush and the chimpanzee better. More intellectually similar also.

Some of these Bush supporters convince me by their perpetual childish name calling to vote for Kerry. If these are Bush supporters, then they must see a fellow child in Bush - thus the attraction

Why don't we all calm down? Didn't anyone listen to John McCain tonight? I have heard GWB called a moron or a chimp at least as often as I've heard Kerry being called names. We could all learn to be more civil. The Gomer Pyle thing is just a joke, okay? Those pics are pretty similar looking, though..
