    Someday I'll start working on my pilot's license. I've done an introductory lesson, and several informal lessons with a pilot friend of mine, but I haven't started my formal training.

            Tip: once you go looking for a bird to fly try finding one based one of Rutans designs: the Long-EZ pusher. Those canard pushers fly like a freakin' dream.

                    However, if I'm not mistaken, it is a kit plane... And I don't think kitplanes are allowed on my airfield.
                    (there are also additional regulations for kit planes, limiting their use)
