somebody offered me free tickets for Oktoberfest last night.
5000 ppl packed in a tent.
much beer.
spent most of the evening with a young(er) woman.
things I remember:
beer
beer
planting my face in some womans cleavage
being lead around by the hand by the afore mentioned young woman.
dancing
beer.
meeting many ppl, and making conversations up as I couldn't hear them due to the noise/music.
the bird dance.
some lady ASKING me to put something in her drink - and telling me which drug to use
beer
having a strange woman give me a ride home
waking up this morning - being hung over and still inebriated

Damn, it's been a long time since my last Oktoberfest, and I remember now what a great time it is!

She drove me there and stayed home looking after the kids - I did have a ticket for her, but she was not in the mood to party.

and I didn't do anything that I wouldn't tell her about. It was all in fun and harmless.

I don't think I'll ever go to Oktoberfest - I don't want to pay outrageous prices for watery beer in a tent far too small to support the number of drunk japanese it inhabits.

I wouldn't say no to an evening full of beer and breasts, though

From what I know of Oktoberfest, I'd go. Friends of mine have, and reported back that if you go on "normal days", when the oktoberfest is a place for locals, it's much quieter than expected. And it cost not that much...
