I tried:
Europe - 111/111
USA - 94/150 - the problem is all states are rectangular, I know where approximately they are - I scored similarly on Africa, although I probably know more US states than African countries, they are harder to associate with shapes
Asia - 79/84 - the ex Soviet -stans are the main problem
South America 37/39 (could not get Guyanas right the first time)
Africa - 93/147 - that one is a bit hard
Middle East - 77/85
Central America - 33/42
Carribean - 20/66 - that one was a problem
You get 3 tries for each country and 1 point less for each try, so it might be wise to spend tries on tricky countries first.
