Just discovered one my friends who works behind the bar is effected.
Her mothers safe but the house is gone of course. She wants to finnish her degree course but has no money now. I'm going to put some money in her collection today.Comment

Phew!!! A temporary sigh of relief. I just read through this thread and thought I was reading about the current disaster and wondered why the CNN site was so behind the news. I pray the lessons learned from the last disaster keep the fatalities to a bare minimum. Bracing for more bad news ...
