Why is it a day late? Today is Christmas Day for the Eastern Christian Orthodox communities (Russian Orthodox and its offshoots).
Yesterday was Epiphany, also a Holy Day of Obligation, celebrating the baptism of Jesus for the Western Christian Orthodox communities (Greek Orthodox and its offshoots) and also the presentation of the Magi for the Roman Church (Feast of the Kings).Brian (the devil incarnate)
