This country has had whole cities wiped out multiple times due to tsunami's. We get a tsunami warning with either expected size or none expected for every quake.

Even the smallest tsunami is nothing to roll your eyes about. Nevermind the fact, as Dan pointed out, that Japan is frequently hit by earthquakes and the resulting tsunami's.

The place I was born at was flooded at the time because the river rose so high that year. I was recently in Indiana where flash floods ruined the house I was staying at just after I left. I know floods are a serious matter, it was just a light hearted comment, I'm sorry if it's caused offense.Comment

I kinda agree, I don't see how anyone in Toyko could be concerned about a tsunami when they're able to recover and rebuild so well after being flattened by Mechagodzilla or whatever time and time again.
BTW, the new Godzilla DVD's are really good, the Japanese soundtrack makes it look far less cheesy (at least when monsters arn't on screen
) and the picture quality is surprisingly nice.
