    Check this guy out! he took the models from Half Life 2 and reworked them a bit.
    This guys has to be one most brilliant and artistic dudes ever!!!!!!

      Holy crap! I had to read the thread just to make sure they weren't real action figures or costumes. I'm blown away.

        So they're using floating point texture pixel values instead of integer and a light value higher than 1.0 (255) is allowed.

        3D programs have had that capability for a long time...it's just now that displays are catching up.
