True one: when I was a kid in Edinburgh, there was an optician named Seymour. The last name in the phone book could hardly be beaten: Zyw. There were also a lot of people with the name Smellie in the phone book: "Hello, are you Smellie?" But I have known real people with the name Kunz, Krapp and, of course, Dick. There is also a Royal Dick Veterinary Hospital in Edinburgh (part of the University) - no jokes re Camilla, please!Brian (the devil incarnate)

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

Ok, true story. I once dated a girl whose family name was once "Crapper".
They were directly related to some English guy who made and sold flushing toilets under his own brand name. Later, to disassociate themselves from the notorious product, the family changed one letter of their last name.
When the girl told me the story she swore me to secrecy. She was really embarrassed by her family history. She preferred that I swear with the "f***" word instead of the "c***" word too.
It's true.P.S. You've been Spanked!
