Yup, it's the HLP5085W. 50 inches of DLP goodness.
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

I shudder to think how much that baby cost!
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

It's not nearly as bad as you're probably thinking. It was on sale for $2999 canadian, which translates to $2459 US, or 1413.92GBP.

The expensive one just came out.. a 56" 1080p pedestal model that retails for US$4999.00.

The one I really want is the new Mitsubishi Diamond Series 73".. 1080p with a 150w lamp, and it's only $7999.00.

I recognise that hi-fi case! I've got one just like it from Ikea!

Nice pad, I've always fancied a place with an open plan mezzanine like that.

Yeah, I read about the new Samsungs. They're mighty fine. They're not available here yet though, so I had to take what I could get. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to afford the new ones anyway...

I highly recommend it if you can find one in your area. Unless of course you have kids. There's absolutely no noise isolation within the unit, so as soon as we pop one out, we'll have to start looking for a normal house.

You could try dry-lining the walls with plasterboard and sound insulation boards.
I dry lined one wall in my place and IIRC The Pit has tried out the sound insulation boards in his.

I don't think that's going to work in my place, since the bedroom wall is about 10 feet high, and the ceiling is 14 feet high. When they say open concept, they really mean it.

                                Awesome place dude.

My wife had a loft apartment when she was in college and I loved it. I don't know why but I just love residences with lofts.
                                Go Bunny GO!
