      I used to have a more advanced etch-a-sketch...

      The screen was circular, and could be rotated. You controlled the 'pen' with a joystick (!). And to top it off, you could click patters (think of them as inverted cogs) around the joystick. Combining this with the rotatable screen, you could actually make lissajous figures...

      Anyway, why they would bring this to a phone just boggles the mind... I have found I use the camera occasionally, since I'm to lazy to type something... (url you see, ...) :-)
      OCR for mobiles (IIRC, Hitachi has models that offer this!) is the way to go for me...

        I used to have one of those too. Can't remember what it was called though...

            No, spirograph was a bunch of cogs and a system to attach it to a piece of paper; you drew your images on paper...
