      really?
I am going to watch it tomorow.
Should I rather save my 11 dollars and spend it on food instead?

Well, I'm pretty picky about movies, but you could always just walk out and demand a refund after about 10 minutes, that's all the time you need to get a feel for the movie, it's bad through and through.

I didn't like the way they made the Thing look. Too melted.

I tried to watch the original movie once, the one that the studio refused to release. I found a vid cap of a VHS on line a while ago. I say that I tried to watch it because I really couldn't. It was so bad that I had to stop.

I guess I'll wait for find a vid cap of this too.
          P.S. You've been Spanked!

When I saw the Thing, I thought he looked so much like a carved lump of foam-rubber I couldn't help but think he should have been saying "Dang, everyone else got all these l33t powers, why'd I get nerfed!?"

$20!? Damn, for that price you can watch the movie, have a 1/2 pound burger with fries AND a Guinness delivered to your seat at our theater, and still have 75 cents left...

Not here. $9 for the ticket. $9 for the medium Coke & popcorn.

Wow, and they wonder why people aren't going to see movies at the theaters?

How much do tickets in your area cost? For me it's marginally less at $8.

$8 for our "luxury" theaters and $6.50 at our "budget" first run theaters, $2.50 for our second run theaters.

$6.50-8.50 for very nice theaters. Matinees run $1.00-3.00 less.

These have wide recliner seats with flip-up cup/snack trays and much better than average snack bar/restaurants on each floor of the theater.

One of 'em has 24 theaters, elevators & escalators, video game parlors and large rest-room/lounges on each level.

£6.50 over here, don't have a lot of choice in Reading, one cinema, unless you have a car.
