Nowhere's orange

I'm not sure what it is it is, but if it is what I think it is the color is off putting.

I would like to think it is an orange (this sounds odd)... but I think it is something other than an orange.

The reason is that the curvature near the top seems to be going in the wrong direction.

I think that the texture is just an artifact from the digitizing process.
