Dell 20" and 24" monitors on sale again :)

More desktop space, less heat, less electricity. 21" monitors eat up a ton of all three.

I know they do, but I have to pay for the replacements.. and the 21" monitors are "only" 110Watts a piece.. as for the heat.. well soon I will welcome it, as winter hits

I would love to have a pair of 20" LCDs , or even better 24" LCDs, but the budget says no right now :'(

I almost bought the 20" widescreen a week ago when they were in the low $400s. What stopped me is that I noticed that the 24" has much better specs for brightness and contrast. I'd like a 20" with those specs.

I have 2 of the 20" one from the last time they were on sale. I also thought that the specs weren't great and wasn't expecting much. Truthfully, I am really impressed with these screens. And I'm very picky about my screens. Most of my CRT monitors in the past have been high end Sony FD Trinitron, etc. I still have a 22" Cornerstone CRT that rocks!

All I'm saying is that you wouldn't be disappointed.

Your Dell 20" is/was $549 Canadian. OUr lovely 20" monitor deal gave us the same monitor for $559 US. For those who don't know the rough exchange rate, that's about $655 Canadian, and if the CA deal was in US dollars it would be $468. So Canucks get it about $90 USD less than Americans.
