DrM, who knows? After all recent discoveries suggest than almost in historical, not prehistorical, times other hominids lived...on Sumatra or around that place, not sure now. Together with legends about "small forrest people", that exist there, perhaps that times were in fact historical. Perhaps even...(you know what I'd write here )
So why not also big ones, apart from small ones?

The thing that cracks me up about Bigfoot freaks is that the ONLY footage and/or pictures we have of Bigfoot... were recently admitted by their creator to be a hoax. And yet these people still persist.

With the recent discoveries of new and the rediscoveries of species long though extinct, I find it harder to thoroughly discount the existence of any creature that is entirely physically within the realm of possibility.

Not saying I believe that there is a "bigfoot" roaming the North American woodlands or that Nessy is playing hide-and-seek with my long lost kinsmen, but I won't say that they emphatically don't exist there or elsewhere.
