I second that.
HL2 and FarCry look awesome in the native 1920x1200 resolution. the panels is a bit bright though.

Got my 2005 last night, set it up. Looks quite nice. No hot or dead pixels I could find in the first test passes.
1680x1050 is a nice resolution. Colors look pretty good. Black leaves a little something to be desired. I miss my Trinitron black. The 2005 has a little bit of a yellow sheen at the four corners - it doesn't change with viewing angle or brightness.
I played a couple minutes of CS:S and there was no ghosting I could see. 1680x1050 DVI, my X800LE was pulling around 70fps instead of the 110fps at 1280x960.

Got my 2005fpw hooked up last night. I'm loving all the real estate but the wide screen does take some getting used to. Anyone know a utility that makes a button/keystroke that lets you switch from landscrape to portrait and back quickly? Reading forums in portrait is VERY nice but I don't want it that way all the time.Wikipedia and Google.... the needles to my tangent habit.

Yeah, I'm not faulting them for it. I'm really happy with my two 20" monitors. I drive them via DVI and have no complaints.
Right now I've got a 17" Viewsonic LCD/TV hooked up to a PS2 via HDTV input for use with my GameBike.
I wasn't happy with the IQ or screen size so I was looking into my options for something better. I was thinking about getting one of those Dell 24" LCDs but I'm now even more glad that I settled on a 30" JVC CRT Wide Screen TV. It cost about the same (actually, a little cheaper) than the Dell.
I still might get a couple of those 24" monitors for my other dev machine, which still has 3 CRT monitors. But I love my Cornerstone p1750 too much to put it out to pasture just yet.P.S. You've been Spanked!Comment

I think I got my Cornerstone just before they went bust. Actually, I might have the only one sold in Canada.
Ingram Micro was the only Canadian distributor for Cornerstone at the time (they might have had others before) and mine was the first one they'd ever sold. I had to wait three weeks for them to import it from the US.
I used it to replace a Sony F500R, which was a great monitor in its day but was showing its age with a focus problem in one corner and an overall lack of brightness and colour saturation.
