It's funny, I was telling someone about General Xenu earlier this month (she was about to get married and made a joke that if Tom Cruise showed up she'd have to re-consider). I wasn't prepared for how ridiculous sounding it would be when the words came out of my mouth. It's like a surreal, out of body experience to listen to yourself actually explaining Scientology out loud.

I had to keep repeating to the girl that I wasn't joking and that Scientologists actually believe what I was telling her. She wouldn't have believed me if it weren't for a few others there who confirmed what I was saying.
