Umm, not what he said. Guess what? Predators EAT other animals! I do agree with Dr Mordrid's indirectly stated opinion about the people who set up the encounter, but I don't find the sight of a praying mantis eating a mouse in and of itself to be disturbing.

I'm pretty sure that in the wild the mantis would have been mouse chow.

Not necessarily mouse chow, but at least the mammal would have had the warm blooded speed advantage & open ground to use it

I know animals kill other animals, but does it not bother you just a tiny bit to watch an insect eat a mammal alive? And especially when other mammals arranged it and decribe the carnage in mundane detail? These guys are sick twisted ****s.

Worse than that. I know this guy who came into the store with a paper bag that was moving. I asked what it was and he told me it was a mouse for his son's python. Told him he was a traitor to his class.

I had a pet reticulated python that was ~9 feet. Had to give it to a friend when I moved into an apartment that wasn't understanding

His favorite food was rats, which I obtained from a local pet store.
