Just saw the medal ceremony for Biathalon at the Torino Games.. The medals look like a CD/DVD! Huge, with a big hole in the middle! wtf were they thinking?

I think that the gold, silver and bronze missing from the middle of the medals was used to buy off the IOC memebers!

Hmmm.... donuts....
Well, they do look ok... Perhaps they want to reference to the ancient Roman times, when all the coins used had a hole in the middle... (made it easier for carrying).
