They need to get the cause and effect right in the reporting. What the research seems to have shown so far is that disrupting the melatonin cycles, using light, disrupts the body's ability to destroy and eliminate some types of cancerous cells. Kinda like garbage collection. Disrupting the defenses is not the same as inducing the cancer as , for example, some chemicals can. So light does not cause cancer ! -
They didn't say it was causal, just that it's influential.

Yes, i agree on the research findings. Yet the reporters (now and back in the '90s) blew it.
