I caught the 12:00pm show at Colossus, Woodbridge.

Definitely see the IMAX 3D version.

The feeling of depth is amazing.

There's a scene where he saves an airplane from crashing that's simply breath taking.

            I totally agree:

"Breathtaking" is putting it mildly!! I think some people in our showing had to change their shorts

Interesting point: they didn't use 2-camera stereoscopic filming. Instead they used the latest generation of digital camera and software to generate the off-axis frames with opposite polarization to the original frames. Works great at a fraction of the cost, so expect to see it a lot more.

Just got a call from my eldest son. Today at ~1:00 pm he called the Henry Ford Museum IMAX (Dearborn, Michigan) to pre-order tickets for this weekend. They went on sale @ 9:00 am.

They told him that every showing is sold out until NEXT TUESDAY!!

Shheeeeeezzzzz......wonder what it'll be like tomorrow??

Watch a matinee with my wife today. We both liked it a lot, and that's saying something beause my wife pretty much hates everything coming out of Hollywood these days.

                        SPOILER ALERT:

There are, at for me there was, very heavy Messianic Christ-like undertones. So much so that I thought Superman was designed for the Christian movie circuit.

Going to see it tomorrow, but I've heard the same. Oddly, almost every time I've heard that, there has been a reference to some of the archival material for Marlon Brando. Often wonder if these people realize that it's material from the first movie.

Of course, by his very nature Superman has some Christ-like undertones.

The only definite reference is a conversation between him and Lois about the world not needing a savior.
