he's not looking at the front of the picture.. but I'll go along with the dumbass part. I think I'd have to jam my shoe in his mouth after being in the same room with him for awhile.

Definitely a dumbass move, but I can see how it could happen. They often rehearse and plan these segments to such a degree that the presenters are usually working on a sort of autopilot mode. He may have very well shown a picture of a horse earlier and accidently grabbed the wrong enlargement (or he was given the wrong one).
