    Detroit Dream Cruise this week

The Dream Cruise is a Detroit area institution dating back to the 50's when rodders would 'cruise' Woodward Avenue all weekend...day and night. Now it's a once a year party that attracts almost 1 million people over this August weekend.

Pic1 - I think the new concept camero is hideous. Put a new concept challenger in there.
        Pic 2/3 - nice retro resto's
Pic 4 - wtf is that suposed to be?
Pic 5 - too much time on his hands
Pic 6 - 50 bucks on the hemi duster
        Pic 7 - nice color
Pic 8 - Kit car. 8k invested, trying to sell for 20k

The rest, true classic cars...cept maybe that ugly purple toranado...Innovative FWD V8 for it's time, but still butt ugly =P

          Prefer the Challenger myself

Pic 4 = Remember the Johnny Cash song where he 'built' a car from parts of 15 years production? This one is a homebrewed trike-car hybrid something like that + some Harley pieces, a speciality in these parts.

          Pic 5 = yup

Pic 6 = N/S!! Those things were FAST!!

          Pic 8 = yup2

The Toronado looks better than its stablemate; the Caddy Eldorado

I remember Jay Leno on Rides taking one of those Toronados and turning it into a rwd unit, with some special GM 1100bhp crate engine he (and probably only he) could lay his hands on. His objective? To smoke a new blown Bentley with an American classic he remembered seeing at one point in his childhood.

Ahh.. it only takes money.. but I admire his spirit.
