Sony has dropped the PS3 price and gave the cheap version HDMI out

Just for those of you who are interested.

The cheaper version now goes for 49980 Yen instead of 62790, and will include HDMI 1.3 out.

Does that mean $450 USD instead of ~$650?

Middle son Chris is here & sez: "I'm still going to get a Wii and X-360....t'hell with Sony"

    Hmm....

They need to reduce the price of the console if this is true.
