Ed Bradley dead: 60 Minutes reporter

    At 65 of leukemia.

During his career Bradley won a Peabody Award, 19 Emmys, a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.

Not too shabby for someone who started as a stringer.

Didn't always agree with him, but a great journalist who almost literally interviewed everyone in the news. He also took a bullet for his craft in Cambodia.

Ditto. He was a good reporter. But you could tell his health had been deteriorating as of late.

It says a lot about someone when they can be remembered positively by those who may not have liked or agreed with him. Despite appearances, that's truly something rare.

        Rest in peace.
