Oh, if you want to see stars, Toronto is not the place to go. You'd have to drive about two hours out of the city before you can see those things.

I 've a cottage about 2 hours north of TO on the Muskoka River.
could always do a weekend trip up there for peace, quiet, fishing, stars and beers
Maybe a couple MURCers could show up.

If you get here early enough in october, we could organize an Oktoberfest outing or two:
This is the largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Germany, and I could provide space for a few interested people.
Tickets would definetly need to be purchased well ahead of time thou.
