The trick is... say he's at a park etc, all the people you see there are part of the stunt itself, the women he split in half is part of the act, and looks like two people as follows...
1-first shot, women laying on bench
2-next shot the too induviduals holding legs and arms.
3-cut to next scene, women replaced by two people whereing same clothing
4-cut to wide angle where stunt is performed
5-cut to the first midget screaming running away
6-cut to the bottom half of the body with a shot of the feet moving which could be anyones
7-cut to audience who are part of the act freaking out yelling etc.
Simple really because all of his stunts are made for TV!
So you can see there are alot of cuts it's the video itself, I mean a ton of it, and when you cut to another scene, you know the next shot was staged. Otherwise it would have to be a continues shot which he will never do!
The funny thing was one particular show, he mentioned that they were going to film continuesly without any cuts, so I watched closely, and just before he performed his trick the clip went to black several times, like they injected 6 frames of black several times, which to me is not any diffrent than a cut.
