counting on people not knowing what RC1 means, I guess.. I would feel awfully silly for buying this..

on the other hand, I do have a copy of RC1, which I could sell, if my morals were not telling me how wrong it was to mislead people this way

I don't think that the license agreement for RC1 allows resale. Unless the sale makes it clear that what is being purchased is the media and not the license, eBay would likely be willing to reverse the transaction.

In my experience RC's are not transferable and the licenses expire soon after the product release.

I reported it to eBay.
