Why does city driving have better mpg than highway??

Not only that, but with the Prius technology, the engine starts only about twice if you do, say, 10 km of stop-start urban traffic, just to keep the battery topped up. On the highway, the engine runs all the time. This is why the Civic hybrid, which uses a different technology, is better on the highway.

Just been on the website. Yep my mistake, the Fusion looks similar to the Mondeo.

Is it a popular car?

It sells decently, but from me partaking on other message boards on Ford products, everyone wants the Mondeo to be sold here instead, esp the new model coming out.

AFAIK you can get both here. Doesn't the fusion have a slightly higher sitting position than ordinary cars? (like a micro-SUV)
