About 20 years ago, when I was living there, the Lausanne Church of Scientology was involved in a very complex and sordid case of the apparent abduction of a minor who was not the brightest star in the universe. I don't remember the details, but the parents had enormous difficulties trying to get her released from their clutches.Brian (the devil incarnate)

smaller? Scientology has more followers then Judaism.
weirder? its a coin toss.
Option one: An invisible all powerful god whom nobody ever sow, took some dirt, and did a hokus pokus move, and man was created . then he took a rib form that man, and woman was created. then they both roamed the garden of eden naked until the woman (ex rib) got an apple from a talking snake, realized she was butt naked, and thus got kicked out of the garden of eden , man needed to work for food, and women's age of easy ride birth's came to an end. and that's why we are all basically screwed.
Option two: this evil alien called Xenu, fled to earth after a war, and buried the souls of his defeated alien enemies. those tormented souls got into men, and that's why we are all basically screwed.
Option three: substitute the all mighty Jewish/Christian/Muslim god with a mash up of a good Italian restaurant,'s menu, substitute heaven's boring golf fields with volcanoes of beer, and all the rest is pretty similar.
which is weirder ? don't know.
However Spaghetti priests, as well as Scientology ones (what ever they call their spiritual leaders) where never accused prosecuted and convicted with molesting thousands of children.
They did not run any "Food For Islam\Christianity programs".
and call me innocent , but burning women blamed with black magic is also pretty weird.
