I think my favorite wine (ok, putting it another way: bought when I want something better than usually, but still cheap
) is French Jeanjean Cabernet Sauvignon.

OK, I voted France but I have to admit, on a price/quality scale, Spain would be top of my list. Of course, with cheap wines, it is better to stay away from French, Italian and, to a lesser extent, Spanish wines. Then the huge supply of monocépage-wines from South-Africa, Autstralia, Argentine etc are to be considered.
