Which reminds me, on "Doc Martin" last night (an ITV drama wifey watches) there's a scene where the Doc says to the patient "and judging from the redness of your palms I'd say your liver has already taken quite a (alcoholic) beating".

What proportion of the country instantly checked out their palms? Pretty high I'd guess

I'd hardly call Doc Martin a drama... it is a comedy (and quite good actually)

I think it has just finished its 3rd series, so it can't be too bad. Comedy wise it is hit and miss. Last night was very funny, in the laughing 'at' rather than 'with' way.
