    Hey Kruzin.
I saw them here in Montreal about a month back and they were fantastic.
They haven't missed a step. You're gonna have a blast.

I've heard a lot of good reviews about the tour. Hopefully they can get along long enough to make it to Feb.

Still can't believe they got back together. I didn't think they could set aside their differences long enough.
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

And I can't believe I "air band" them in High school.
But I did like Van Halen with Sammy Hargar, I did not like what Van Halen did to Sammy ( from what I heard)

Found this blog on the tour....lots of good reviews, and many vids of the concerts.

Looks like I know exactly what to expect at the show, as their play list has been the same for every show...gawd I can't wait....is it Feb 1 yet???

A little trivia that some may not know.

Eddie Van Halen plays the solo on the song "Beat it" from Michael Jackson's Thriller.

It's a great solo and a great song

I knew that, and IMO, it's the LOWlight of Eddies career.
But as long as he didnt let Mikey 'beat it' on him (which is unlikely, since Eddie was over 12 years old), I can accept that Eddie just took it on as a paying gig before he made it big....

Lowlight of his career? Hmmm, how can that be since it was during the highlight of his career To each their own

                        MJ's 'Beat It' was '82.
VH didn't hit it's true high point till thier '1984' album, which was when their previous works became more recognized in mainstream rock.
I'd be willing to bet that 'Beat It' is not the work that Eddie is the most proud of in his years of rockin'

OK, so I looked up some "facts"

Thriller was released in November of '82.
1984 was released in January of '84.

In February of '84 Thriller won 8 grammys from the Grammy Awards, hence why I probably associate Thriller and 1984 in the same time frame. Whatever you want to call it, it was the beginning of the high points of Van Halen's career

MJ had nothing to do with boosting EVH's career whatsoever. If MJ had never existed, as many children wish, EVH's career would be much the same.

*sigh* I'm just merely stating a trivia fact and saying that this is around the same time that VH was at it's high.
