Free MS s/w in return for your privacy

Basically you let them spy on your habits for 3 months and answer some surveys, and they reward you with some software. Choices include top versions of Office 2007 and Vista, amongst others. US residents only.

Hmm, where does it say that they give you software? I only see them talking about the spyware that you download and install so they can track your every move.

I haven't read too deeply. I got the heads up via a Code Project newsletter: http://www.webpronews.com/node/42819/print

When you register it asks what software you want. I did this on my home computer where I don't ever P2P. I rarely even use the desktop anymore and my wife is harmless (and agreed), so it's free software for me.

            Hm, putting tin-foil hat on

They do it only to convince us they don't spy on us all the time already
