Well, first of all people either love or hate ThinkPads.
Second of all, people have been reporting on this "breakthrough technology" for years and years, but the sad reality is that USB - even in the 2.0 incarnation - can't really handle video bandwidth of any substantial resolution.
Plus the Inquirer routinely publishes lies and speculation and calls it "news".
