How do you celebrate New Years Eve?

So, how do you celebrate New Years Eve?

Possibly boring to others, but we have spent New Years Eve with the same couple playing bridge, eating and drinking for the last 25 years.

    Any other traditions out there?

We just stay home, off the roads, away from the idiots, watching the ball drop with my kids (if they manage to stay awake that late )

        Like Kuzin and the Doc,
My kids are 8 and 5 and have stayed up to ring in the New Year the past two years and are going for number three. We just finished watching Mr Bean's Holiday. ( the kids really enjoyed it ) The one tradition we have been doing and is the big event of the night, is chocolate fondu with fruit. We just polished off two small bowls ( melted aero bars ) They are cleaning up, and I was just checking emails. I'm sure a few games with the kids will make the rest of the night go quickly.

        Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

On the dance floor. I'm just catching a late dinner before I go to a house party for swing and blues dancing.

Had a quietish one at home with some friends and their son. My youngest (5) allegedly still wasn't tired at 1am, but his eyes shut the moment his head hit the pillow. Luke (10) made it to about 10 past 12 LOL.

                Happy New Year everyone

                      Happy New Year!!

Watched (!) the fireworks from near Westminster bridge. Not really, there was thick fog that came at exactly 11:58 and cleared at around 12:20 so we didn't see most of the fireworks :|

then to a private party at a pub in Soho and to bed around 6 in morning.

                      head still not right

With friends (19 in total!), at someone's home. Nice evening with drinks, apetizers, food, desert and presents.
