Some months ago someone did a spoof that you'd need a license to photograph in public. Although laughable I can see it coming.

If you think it's silly a women got upset when I walked past her with a camera. Luckily her husband went ape shit with her and I didn't have to say anything and just walked away.
However if he backed her up made a scene I'd lost my camera, my computers and possibly my job as the police would have to investigate.

I think this has less to do with Political Correctness and more to do with Paranoia!

The lines are getting more and more blurred on this. I think the Paranoia comes first then the political correctness develops from that. I wouldn't be surprised in a few a years that couldn't take your camera into certain places.

It also throws up some contradictions like camera in School changing rooms and toilets for security. Yet a parent can't film his child on stage in a play. Bizarre.
