Looks to be an interesting year for the Detroit Tigers
1. a starting lineup that hits .300, or within single digits of it, top to bottom including newly-acquired Edgar Renteria - a spray hitting shortstop with speed and 274 stolen bases
2. SIX Golden Glove winners, with potential for seventh & eighth in Curtis Granderson and Carlos Guillen
3. a "class A" pitching staff of 12, including several capable of 100+ mph
4. so many backups & talented free agents that hit .300 or close to it that their biggest problem is getting them all playing time
If they play at even a fraction of their potential.....
